New Year’s Resolutions: Achieve your goals by using the puzzle analogy

We Make it Easy

Let’s Work Together!

puzzle

When is the last time you put together a jigsaw puzzle? Even if it’s been awhile, you most likely know the drill: You sort the pieces into groups before getting started and then tackle putting the puzzle together one piece at a time.

The next time you’re overwhelmed by the numerous steps it will take to accomplish a task, think back to the puzzle and come up with a plan to achieve your goal. The most important thing is to start!

One step at a time

Putting a puzzle together is the perfect analogy for anything you are trying to achieve in life. You won’t know all the steps to your goal until you are in the middle of it. Each step comes up when it needs to and you will complete it as happens. Some of the pieces might need to be moved around but that is life. If the first piece doesn’t fit, you make adjustments and move forward.

Get organized

Being organized will make it much easier to see where all the pieces go and save you a lot of time in the long run. Make a plan. You will save yourself a lot of time and frustration. It’s easier to go through organized items than one big, disorganized pile.

Making the pieces fit

You may hit some bumps along the way and get a bit frustrated, but if you are organized and take your project one step at a time. In the end, all of the pieces will fit together perfectly and make a beautiful picture.
