West Press is an employee owned company in Tucson, AZ looking for a digital press operator to join our company. Digital printing has always been a part of West Press and continues to enjoy growth. The perfect candidate has experience with digital presses/copiers or prepress experience. The department supports both color and black/white equipment.
Current equipment: Ricoh Pro C9210, Xerox 180, Ricoh 8310, Xerox B9125
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years in the printing industry
- Knows papers, especially colors and weights
- Can lift 40 pounds
- Capable of standing/running around for most of the shift
- Above average computer skills
- Exceptional multi-task skill
- Flexibility with workload variations and demands
- Upbeat & positive personality – no drama
- Communicate intelligently in a professional manner
- Be able to read and interpret job tickets
- Give feedback to supervisors/production manager when something doesn’t look right
- Excellent work ethic
- Contribute to the success of the company
Full-time, Monday – Friday
Hours will be between 6:00am – 5:00pm
Overtime and weekend work as necessary
