Coatings
Specialty coatings can add interest, depth, and contrast to your printed piece as well as boost the color and enhance the protection—great for book covers, packaging, and direct mail. West Press offers LED UV including matte, gloss, soft touch, contrasting spot and motion-like special effects, satin and gloss aqueous, dull and gloss varnish, and laminate. Letterpress
We offer specialty finishing including foil stamping, embossing/debossing and folder/gluer services used for pocket folders and packaging.
Die-cutting, scoring and perforating
Die-cutting is a process that uses a steel die to cut out, score, or perforate a specific decorative or functional shape. It can punch out a shape incorporated within a larger piece, or it can be used to create the shape of an object by cutting the entire sheet of paper.
