Valentine’s Day is almost here and there’s no better time to show your customers a little love. Consider these suggestions when you’re ready to further a commitment to the people who support you all year.
- Host a Valentine’s Day party for your current and potential customers. Make it an open house so people can stop by when they are free. Get-togethers like this are also a good time to show off a new piece of equipment or service.
- Follow your customers back on social media. You’re in business to be successful. Building connections is one easy way to do that. It shows you care.
- Keep track of services or buying history then personalize the discount offer to what they have purchased. Now that’s commitment.
- As a special Valentine’s Day treat, select a few faithful customers and take them to lunch. Then give them a special Valentine asking them to do something nice for someone else. Pay the love forward.
- Give part of your proceeds from Valentine’s Day to a charity of your choice, maybe the American Heart Association or a local cause. Make sure your customers know so they feel even better about supporting you.
- Give customers something special (A rose? A lollipop?) if they’re wearing red. Ask your employees to put on their favorite red outfits, too. Love is in the air!
- Advertise a flash Valentine’s sale to your social media followers. Post it on your profiles and make it valid for a short time.
While there are plenty more ways to show your customers how much you care, get in the mood by trying out a few of these ideas. Your patrons will love you for it.
